Quadna Mountain offers a quiet place to enjoy Minnesota's beauty and natural environment.

Located in Aitkin County, just south of Hill City, the Quadna Mountain townhouse property includes 11 buildings and 93 units. The complex was built in the 1970's and has seen many updates over the years. Unit types include Studio, One, Two, Three and Four bedroom homes. Some owners have been with us since the beginning. With a low maintenance building and low association dues, our central location is great for a quick weekend trip, an extended stay, or a place to call home. Our superior crew maintains the grounds and keeps an eye on units for peace of mind while you are away.

Aitkin County offers low tax rates, quality service and access to an exceptional system of hiking, biking, ATV and snowmobile trails (see below). If you're looking for a weekend place that allows you to enjoy year-round activities without the upkeep of a cabin or second home, then Quadna is for you. Whether you are buying for the long term or renting for the short term you will enjoy the experience of all Quadna has to offer.

The land that is now Minnesota was originally home at various times for two major Native American tribes—the Dakota (or Sioux) and the Ojibwa (Anishinabe or Chippewa). The Quadna name has its roots with the ancestors of the land as the Ojibway called the area “Pikwadina” or “Piquadinaw”, which translates to “it is hilly”.
