The townhomes at Quadna Mountain consist of studio, one, two, and three bedroom floor-plans located just outside Hill City, MN - approximately three hours from the Twin Cities. Our maintenance-free townhomes are a main attraction for homeowners. We also have lake and dock access, a swimming pool, tennis/pickleball court, recreation court, and other amenities. The area is within walking distance to golfing, fishing, hiking, ATV and snowmobiling trails, snowshoeing and cross-country skiing.

The northern Minnesota woods and rolling hills of Quadna Mountain provide the backdrop for our quiet community atmosphere. In addition to the charm and character that make Quadna Mountain so special and desirable, owners enjoy a convenient location off of U.S. 169.

Low Maintenance Fees

Association dues are dependent on what type of unit you own. Association dues include the following: Snow removal, firewood, grass cutting, yard cleanup, trash pickup, access to pool, tennis courts, and 200 feet of shore line. For large events, owners can rent our community center. All 11 of our buildings had 30 year steel siding put on in 2014 and new shingles on most buildings. Our parking lots had repairs done in 2016 and 2017. When you own at Quadna, we make the best of your dues, and when you visit all you have to do is enjoy the area.

Amenities

Access to golf, a paved bike path, snowmobile trails and Hill City with its award winning BBQ are just some of the amenities offered. Pre-split wood and a fire pit are available. Our remaining tennis court was resurfaced in 2015 for both tennis and pickle ball. Our 2nd court is now open as a half basketball court, bean bag, shuffle board & ping pong table. We offer a swimming pool to enjoy the warm summer days, access to the DNR ATV trails, and short term docking for boats.

If you're looking for a challenging and unique course, jump in your cart and tee-off right across the road. Quadna owners have access to a nine hole course that is always fun to play. Our outdoor pool is open from Memorial Day to Labor Day and offers plenty of space to lounge and enjoy complete with showers and restroom facilities. Our tennis court is resurfaced and ready for use for pickleball and tennis. We converted our other tennis court to a multi sports facility complete with a half court basketball area. We also offer a single hoop near our community center to practice or play a quick game of one on one.

Close to Home

The Twin Cities, Grand Rapids, St. Cloud, Duluth, Iron Range, Bemidji, and a host of other cities are a short drive away. Quadna is conveniently located for the quick weekend trip. No long commute or hassle of driving back on a Sunday morning to avoid the summer traffic. Minnesota is made to enjoy the outdoors, so spend more time enjoying and less time driving and doing maintenance.

Snowmobile, ATV, Boating

If you like the snow, you can't get any better than Quadna. Imagine driving up on a Friday night and the snow is falling and you know you don't have to shovel the next day. Just unload the machines and get on the trails. Access to thousands of miles of the DNR trail system in the back yard. ATV trails are plentiful and Hill City has a user friendly policy on ATV use on county roadways. Check out all the trails on the DNR web site. Boating on Hill Lake is always fun. Long and narrow, it allows both recreational use and sport fishing for those who seek out fun on the water. Satellite TV - Channel Lineup and Forms

Sight and Surf provide basic HD service at no extra cost to all association members. Click on the link below for details on how to reach Sight and Surf. Each unit has an HD DVR receiver installed. Owners can enjoy a host of channels and access to upgraded service if they desire. Our standard Family Package is included in the association fees so if you don't want to pay, an HD quality signal is still available with access to Twin Cities local channels and other family friendly programming. Our Staff

Our maintenance staff keeps our buildings and grounds in top condition no matter what the season. Weekly heat checks help prevent problems and yearly inspections of the grounds provide updates on what is in need of repair or replacement. Our board of directors and management company work to implement plans and improvements.

Local Food & Drink

Hill City offers many restaurants. Harry's Bar & Grill established in 1991 has generated award winning barbeque and offers a rib dinner that will compare with the best of the East and West. They were invited to the World Food Championship in Orange Beach Alabama in November of 2016. Knuckleheads Bar & Grill has wines and spirits that can satisfy the Summer heat or Winter cold. Hill City café is a good family restaurant offering a Sunday Brunch that can satisfy the hungriest of the hungry. For a local taste of homemade meals, try Ruthie's Restaurant.

High-Rated Schools

ISD #2 is a small K-12 school with big ideas and plans. Small classroom sizes allow for the education you can expect from a Minnesota School. In 2016, the Hill City School received recognition for having an efficient school. Hill City School's energy usage is a third of the national average. New $4 million renovations are complete and allow for community events.

Paved Trail into Town

Run, bike, snowshoe or walk to town. You can utilize this paved 2.5 mile trail to stay in shape and enjoy nature along the way. See our map for details.
